Henna has always brought a quiet strength to Ascension. She is involved in the Youth & Government club and is an asset to the Instrumental Music Program, playing bass and guitar, and enjoying performing in the school concerts each semester. Henna also expresses herself through art, drawing both digitally and traditionally, and in her free time enjoys watching shows and movies, hanging out with friends, and listening to a large variety of music. Henna can be described as artistic, honest, and casual, and has also visited over 15 different countries! Throughout high school, Henna has found an appreciation for Ascension’s community, but says her favorite thing about the school is its college preparation, citing how many teachers are willing to help students through struggles and genuinely care about their students’ academic success. She advises younger students to build the habit of proper time management, as it is one of the most important things to establish early on in their academic career.
