Senior Spotlight: JP Rholdon

Grade started: 7th grade
Favorite teacher: Mrs. Lad
Favorite Ascension memory: When the french students came to town and we had a big party with them.
Future plans: Study Biological sciences at LSU

Through out his time at Ascension, JP has participated in the cross country, soccer, and track teams, as well as the fitness and cooking clubs. In his free time, JP enjoys working out, running, and playing Rocket League with the boys. His favorite thing about Ascension includes, “The small class sizes because my teachers can work with me one on one”. If JP could define himself in three words it would be energetic, outgoing, and empathetic, and a fun fact about himself would be that he used to do gymnastics when he was little. His advice to younger students would be, “Go to all of the sports events and dances and dress up for all of the themes. Be involved in school activities”.

Hi! I am Maggie Dardar and I have been at Ascension since Pre-K 3! I am currently a junior and I chose to do Journalism because I would love to work on the yearbook and write articles about other students here at Ascension. I am a part of the swim, basketball, and track teams and I also love to hang out with my friends and spend time with my dog, Brew. I am super excited to be a part of this year’s Journalism class!
