Anna Kathryn Charbonnet (AK) is an Alpha Omega here at Ascension. AK has participated in leadership for the past three years, and this year serves as the senior academic class leader. In leadership, AK spends her time planning pep rallies, school dances, writing scripts, and organizing homecoming week events with her fellow class leaders. While at Ascension, AK has participated in varsity soccer and basketball; she serves as a team captain of both sports this year. AK is a superstar athlete. She can play just about any sport and do a fantastic job. She also runs varsity cross country and track.

AK is an extremely well-rounded person. She’s maintained a 4.0 all of high school while participating in numerous extracurriculars and has a job at Sonic! Outside of work and school, with the free time she’s given, AK enjoys walking her dog, hanging out with her friends and family, and reading! Some of Ak’s favorite memories have come from attending PineCove, and YoungLife camp in the summer.  She says it was “the best two weeks of her life”. When I asked what her best piece of advice was she replied “see the good in all things”. In the future, after undergrad AK hopes to go to law school and obtain a law degree. If you get the chance, talk to AK because she is a pretty cool person, and is always down to get to know somebody new!
