Favorite Ascension memory: Junior trip

Josie Mcbride started Ascension at the beginning of her sophomore year, and her favorite memory at Ascension is the junior trip. During the trip, she got close with her best friend Meredith Trahan. It was also where she found the college she is planning on going to. Her favorite teacher at Ascension is Coach McCullough, she commented that “McCullough has always made her laugh and made it easy to learn in his class.”

Josie has been cheering since sophomore year, and she enjoys being part of the team and cheering for the Blue Gators. Josie plans to go to college, major in business, and “open a few cheer gyms around the U.S that teach the proper technique of cheer and tumbling.” Her favorite part of Ascension is the environment; she said “it’s very chill and non-stressful.” Josie’s favorite part of senior year is getting to have a football season, even with corona.
