Ashley Gill began attending Ascension 7th grade, and her favorite memory at Ascension was the 8th grade Boston trip. Ashley said, “I loved the 8th grade trip because I became close to people in my class and got to make great memories.” Ashley’s favorite teacher is Coach McCullough because she always looks forward to his class and always makes her laugh with his jokes. Her favorite part about senior year so far is getting senior privileges and being the oldest on campus. She commented, “It’s really cool to have so many people look up to you.” 

Ashley is committed to the University of Missouri, and she was given the opportunity to be on their swim team. Ashley Gill has been swimming since she was 10, when she began swimming competitively when she moved to Louisiana. She practices 6 days a week, year-round. Her favorite part about swim is the team environment. “Everyone I swim with is so encouraging and always makes the meets fun even when we can’t have fans watching us.”
