Grace Werner has been at Ascension since her fourth-grade year. She is head class leader and a participating member of the S.A.D.D club. You can find Grace in the stands of almost every football game and dressed perfect for every theme. Grace also enjoys hanging out with her friends and going to eat on the weekends. Grace is compassionate about helping others and giving everyone the best advice. She also enjoys traveling, specifically to the beach and mountains!

Grace’s favorite class is leadership because of the close relationships she has with the other classes and getting to work together with everyone. She says, “There are so many opportunities that are behind the scenes, and seeing those ideas come together is the greatest feeling.” Grace’s one piece of advice for the younger classman is, “As cliche as it sounds, take every moment of high school in because you will create the best memories with some of your best friends.”  Lastly, Grace says one of her favorite things about Ascension is the comforting feeling of being at school. She loves the idea that everyone can be themselves and it is all one being a happy family. Though Grace and her classmates have had an unexpected senior year, she is excited for what’s to come and will try her best to make the best of the changes at school and outside of school.
