Izzy is a senior at Ascension this year. She started Ascension 8th grade year when she switched from Our Lady of Fatima. At Ascension, she is involved in volleyball, tennis, power of women, and young life. Her role model is her mom because she continues to support her decisions that she strongly disagrees with.

When I asked Jessica Matt about Izzy she said,” We’ve been friends since fifth grade and switched to Ascension together. She has always been there for me, even when I’m mean to her bc she DESERVES BETTER!!!” I asked Izzy what advice she had for underclassmen, she said,” GPA is forever, that boy is NOT, so get over it and focus on school!” Her favorite Ascension memory is the 8th grade trip to Boston because it was her first year at Ascension and it was fun to bond with everyone. Her future plans are to attend Texas Christian University and to major in chemistry and a minor in psychology.
