Full Name: Emma Marie Billeaud

The grade you started at Ascension: 4th grade

Favorite Teacher and why: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Durke because she’s a really good biology teacher, she has taught me a lot about the subject in the past two years. I also realized how much I love biology in her Biology II and AP Biology classes.

Favorite Ascension Memory: It was the first couple of days of school my 6th grade year. In science class, Ms. Meloche was preparing a science experiment for the class with a candle. She held up the candle and just took a bite out of it…turns out it was a potato, not a candle.

Plans After high school: My plans after I graduate are attending UL and majoring in biology. I want to attend medical school and become a pathologist or do something in dentistry.

What is something most people do not know about you? I lived in 3 different states in my lifetime.

What is something you feel is commonly misunderstood about you? I think I am known as being quiet but  I’m really just trying to get all my work done during school hours.

What is some advice you would give to the underclassmen? Don’t procrastinate with your service hours, you don’t want to do them all your senior year!

What is something you would change about Ascension? I would probably change the staying outside during break rule. It’s always chilly in the mornings and I get cold very easily.

Favorite quote and why? My favorite saying would be “hydrate or diedrate” I don’t know who first said this but I think it’s so funny, I’ve been saying it for years.

What’s your favorite movie of all time? A movie that I will never get tired of watching would be Elf because the whole movie has an uplifting mood and Will Ferrell is so funny in the movie.

What’s on your bucket list this year? One thing on my bucket list is to travel to many different places in my lifetime. I’ve also always wanted to make a British Guard laugh; if I would be successful I would feel so accomplished.
