Favorite Teacher: “Coach Jill because she is a chill teacher and I’m close to her because she was my volleyball coach, I fell that I can go to her for anything.”

Favorite Ascension Memory: The time we went to New Orleans for the State volleyball tournament and we went out to dinner and we had to run back to the bus because there was a protest coming towards us. Also going to state with my best friends was pretty cool too.”

Plans After high school: “I will be attending Millsaps College in Jackson Mississippi to play volleyball. I will be majoring in Biology.”


What is something most people do not know about you? “I really like doodling and enjoy writing in calligraphy letter.”

What is something you feel is commonly misunderstood about you? “I think I’m seen as unapproachable and have an “RBF” also that I’m stuck up and only care about myself.”

What is some advice you would give to the underclassmen? Focus on school work but do not forget to have a social life, you can learn many life lessons outside of school. Also, do not stress about that ACT if you can maintain a really good GPA you will be able to go to a good college.”

What is something you would change about Ascension? “Unblock Netflix on our computers.”

Favorite quote and why? “Stop whatever you’re doing. We need to shop.” – Blair Waldorf. “I love this quote because Blair Waldorf is literally my spirit animal and Gossip Girl is my FAVORITE television series. Also, I absolutely love shopping for anything.”

What’s your favorite book/movie of all time and why did it speak to you so much? Dirty Dancing because I just love that time period and the music and dancing in the movie and also it’s a plus that Patrick Swayze is a very attractive man.”

What’s on your bucket list this year? “Go to Paris.”

Anything else you’d like to add? “Find a friend group that will support you no matter how bad the situation. I know if I did not have a support system that was not just my parents I would be a mess.”
