Favorite teachers at Ascension: Señora Acevedo because “she pushed me to learn in new ways and is always there for me inside and outside of the classroom,” Mrs. Roberts because “she encourages me to be myself fully, taught me to always stand up for what I believe in, and helped me to discover my love of creative writing,” and Coach Jill because “she is easy to talk to, trustworthy, and never fails to make sure that all her students are okay.”

Future Plans: Emmaline plans to attend LSU in the fall and major in Special Education with a minor in non-profit business. She hopes to one day run her own non-profit for people with special needs that will serve as a resource center for them to get jobs and get involved in sports and social events.
