Whether you keep up with the NFL or not, it is always fun to have an excuse to gather with family or friends, eat delicious food, and enjoy watching artists perform a miniature concert at halftime.

Super Bowl LX takes place Sunday evening in Santa Clara, California where the Seattle Seahawks will face the New England Patriots, and although the game would be exciting to watch in person, most of the nation will be keeping in touch with the game from home, most likely in the form of Super Bowl watch parties. 

A stereotypical Super Bowl watch party consists of the game playing loudly on the main TV as guests observe, then converse with each other during timeouts and commercial breaks. While watching the game, there are bowls of chips and dip for everyone as well as other bite-sized foods including mozzarella sticks or chicken wings to savor. If you do not watch the Super Bowl for football, you are most likely awaiting the halftime show. Some popular artists who have sang in the show are Rihanna in 2023, The Weeknd in 2021, Lady Gaga in 2017, and Beyoncé in 2013, and all of these performers successfully kept the people of America entertained, playing some of their greatest hits. This year, many Americans are enthusiastic about seeing this year’s choice of singer: Bad Bunny, so if you don’t watch the game for the sport, at least watch it for the upbeat energy at halftime.

When the Super Bowl rolls around, even if you are someone who does not understand or like the game itself, it is always lively to get together with friends and family while having the amusement of delicious food and energetic atmosphere.
