In 2025, one of my New Year’s resolutions was to listen to new music! To make this goal measurable, I decided to listen to 80 albums, start to finish. I chose music from different genres by different artists, mostly choosing albums I had heard and enjoyed a song from in the past and wanted to explore more deeply. This is a great way to find hidden gems from more popular artists. I kept a playlist of all the albums I wanted to listen to, adding to and removing from it over the year, and set the goal of listening to one or two albums a week. I recently met my goal of 80 albums and wanted to share a list of everything I listened to with stars next to the albums I really enjoyed and highly recommend!
