Homecoming Court 2022!
Taylen Guillot is looking forward to being around all of her friends and making many memories to look back on during her senior year. Taylen believes that being on Homecoming Court means she’s truly a part of Ascension. Taylen’s favorite homecoming tradition is dressing up for homecoming week and going to all the football games. In Taylen’s opinion, the most stressful part of being on Homecoming Court is trying to find outfits and schedule everything. Taylen adds, “Make the best of it!”
Hollyn Hebert is most excited for the homecoming night football game and walking the field. According to Hollyn, being on Homecoming Court is something she’s always looked forward to because she had looked up to the girls on previous courts and wants the younger ones to feel the same way she had felt back then. Hollyn’s favorite homecoming memory was the sophomore year pep rally that was outside, on the field. The most stressful part of being on homecoming court for Hollyn is getting different outfits for all of the Homecoming Court events. Hollyn’s motto is “live in the moment!”
Meagan Huff is most excited for walking with her dad during the halftime of the homecoming game. Meagan believes that being on Homecoming Court is an experience to show her Gator pride and be with friends. Meagan’s favorite homecoming tradition is dressing up on the themed days and showing her spirit during all the events. For Meagan, the most stressful part of homecoming is finding a suit that’s long but still fits her. She went on to say, “Have fun! Take it all in and enjoy it. It is our last homecoming!”
Maddy Justus is looking forward to spending her last year with her best friends. Maddy feels honored to represent her class as the Senior Lead Prefect and be voted on Homecoming Court. Maddy’s favorite homecoming memory is going to the homecoming game and parade when she was little. The most stressful part of being on Homecoming Court for Maddy is trying to find a hat to match her suit! About homecoming, Maddy says, “Make the most of this year but especially this week!”
Greta Leoni is excited for her father to walk her out with her during the halftime of the homecoming game. She feels like being on Homecoming Court means a lot because she’s been at Ascension for so long and finally gets to be a part of this tradition. Greta’s favorite homecoming tradition is the annual Powder Puff games and cheering on Homecoming night. According to Greta, the most stressful part of being on Homecoming Court is trying to find outfits for every event. Greta says, “Enjoy it while it lasts!”
Kendalyn Morgan is looking forward to walking out in the Homecoming field with her dad. Kendalyn believes that being on Homecoming Court is important for her because she’s always looked up to the girls on Homecoming Court, and she wants to be that for younger girls. Kendalyn’s favorite Homecoming memory is hosting the Homecoming pep rally during her junior year. The most stressful part of Homecoming for Kendalyn is knowing that everyone will be watching her during the halftime walk and the outfits. Her motto is ”Stay true to yourself!”
Payton Musso is excited to open the doors for the preschool kids during Homecoming week. Payton is excited to be on Homecoming Court because she wants the little girls to look up to her the way she looked up to the previous homecoming courts! Payton’s favorite homecoming memory was junior year getting up in front of the entire school to sing “Happy Birthday, Mr. President.” The most stressful part of being on Homecoming Court is finding a suit and soaking it all in. A quote from Payton is “take it in while it lasts!”
Miranda Prejean is looking forward to having a fun time with her best friends. Miranda believes that being on Homecoming Court is a great experience because her sister was on court, and now she gets to follow in her footsteps. Miranda’s favorite homecoming memory is dressing up all week. Miranda believes the most stressful part of being on Homecoming Court is choosing the outfits for all of the events. SK West is excited to make memories with her friends by her side, and she’s excited to walk with her dad during the homecoming football game night. SK feels honored to be selected for Homecoming Court. Her mother and cousin were on Homecoming Court, and she wants to follow in their footsteps. SK’s favorite homecoming memory was junior year when Hunter did a toe touch at the homecoming halftime show. The most stressful part of being on Homecoming Court is finding a blue suit and hat to match. A quote from SK is ”enjoy every moment because I’ll never experience it again”.
Aubrey Womack is looking forward to celebrating with her friends and family at the parade. Aubrey believes that being on Homecoming Court is being able to represent her school and peers. Aubrey’s favorite homecoming memories come from the homecoming football games, since she’s been at Ascension since Pre-K 3. Aubrey feels the most stressful part of being on Homecoming Court is balancing all the events with the rest of her schedule. Aubrey adds, “I want to make my last homecoming week really count!”
