Senior Spotlight: Cameron Foret

Name: Cameron Foret 

Grade started: 7th Grade 

Favorite teacher: Ms. Sara Callais

Favorite Ascension memory: JP getting hit in the back with eggs during Junior Senior war

Future plans: Attending LSU and majoring in Marketing, and going into Medical Device Sales 

While at Ascension, Cameron has been a part of the Fitness club, Adulting club, Beta, the soccer team, and YoungLife. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his friends and play and watch sports. 

He said his favorite thing about Ascension is the close-knit community and how everyone supports each other. Three words to describe him are outgoing, funny, and hardworking. A fun fact about Cameron is that he was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

When asked what advice he would give to young students, he said, “To branch out as much as possible, don’t limit yourself to just the people at Ascension.”

Hi guys!! I am Ava Cope, and I am a senior this year. I have been at Ascension for 12 years now, and this is my third year in journalism! I’ve also been on Gator Jazz for five years, and I am the only senior this year. My favorite thing about Ascension is how everyone is so close together and the opportunities it brings. Outside of school, I love to hang out with my friends and dance competitively. I can’t wait to work on the yearbook and create the theme! I’m so excited to see what this year holds!!
