Favorite teacher: Mr. Shome

Favorite Ascension memory: 9th Grade Memphis class trip

Future plans: Go to Louisiana Tech for cyber engineering to work in cybersecurity

Chase is involved in many extracurricular activities and clubs such as BETA, Adulting club, Board game club, and soccer. In his free time he likes to play soccer, games and hangout with his family and friends. His favorite thing about Ascension is “The close-knit environment where everyone knows each other”. He defines himself as smart, kind, and funny. A fun fact about him is he was born at three pounds and fit into his mom’s palm as a baby! His advice to younger students is “to enjoy the time you have here at high school because it goes by really faster than you think”.

Hi guys! My name is Mary Frances Durio, and I will be a senior this school year. I have been at Ascension since third grade and while being here I have been involved in many extracurricular activities such as softball, volleyball, tennis and leadership. I have one sibling who is a sophomore this year. Some things I like to do in my free time are hanging out with friends and family, reading, and watching movies. This is my second year in journalism, and I am so excited to be a part of this team!
