Luke is an outstanding member of the Ascension community who is very excited for his senior year! He participates in Speech and Debate and Youth and Government, as well as tutoring in the Learning Lab daily, and serving his community with NEHS, NHS, Beta, and Gators for Others. In his free time, Luke enjoys spending time with his friends, riding his bike, and volunteering for various community events outside of school. Luke also has a special interest in reading and studying Theology and History, even dressing up as a monk for Halloween. Luke can be described as sociable, ambitious, and pious. He greatly enjoys the freedoms that Ascension offers and the fun, personal relationships with the teachers he has built during his time here (shoutout to Coach T Trot and Mista J Stone!) Luke’s advice to younger students is to get involved with as many clubs as possible. Even outside of sports, Ascension offers such a variety of extracurricular activities to every student, and if something doesn’t spark your interest, don’t be afraid to start something that does!
