Senior Spotlight: Hayes Trotter

Grade Started: Pre-K3

Favorite Teacher: Coach McCullough

Favorite Ascension Memory: 7th-grade media class

Future Plans: undecided on a college, but want to study engineering

During Hayes’s time at Ascension, he has been part of the soccer, track, and football teams. Hayes has participated in both the podcast and fitness clubs. He also serves as an Ascension Ambassador. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends. Hayes’s favorite thing about Ascension is the people and his friends. Three words that he uses to define himself are nonchalant, tall, calm. One fun fact about Hayes is he is 1/16 Native American. The one piece of advice that Hayes would like younger students to know is “Enjoy every moment because it goes by fast”.

Hi! I am Amalie Trahan and this year I am a Senior. This is my 3rd year at Ascension and I am super excited to be joining Journalism! I am excited to learn more about Journalism and everything that goes on behind the scenes. I am a member of both the competition and gameday cheerleading teams as well as the HOSA club. I enjoy pilates and spending time with friends and family outside of school. I cannot wait for this year and hope to make it the best!
