During Preston’s time at Ascension, he has played both football and baseball. He has also been a part of leadership, this year serving as the Student Life Prefect. This year Preston is a leader of the Fitness Club and has been involved in YoungLife throughout his time at Ascension. In his free time he enjoys kicking it back with the boys, fishing, playing pickleball, and watching college sports. Preston’s favorite thing about Ascension is “The closeness of everyone at the school and the opportunities available to us which allow us to grow closer as a community. We also try to get as many people involved as possible, starting with the upperclassmen, making a great example for the younger students.” The three words Preston defines himself as are level-headed, intelligent, and kind. One fun fact about Preston is he was born with 11 toes. Some advice he would give to younger students is, “Try in school starting Freshman year, do not wait. Get involved in the school activities, such as student life and service projects, because they are always fun. Join leadership; it is a good starter to get involved in the school, and we put on a lot of fun events. Lastly, be yourself, do not care what others think about you, because at the end of the day, no one is going to judge you or be mean about something you did.”
