Anna Hicks is a part of the varsity swim team, the Sports Med Student Aide Program, and the Learning Lab. She is the president of HOSA and made a capstone during her junior year. Anna likes to read! She collects limited edition books but truly likes to read ebooks. Anna also crochets plushies just for fun and gives them out as Christmas presents. Anna also likes gaming. Anna’s favorite game to play is Animal Crossing because she says that it’s so cozy. Anna’s favorite thing about Ascension is the Sports Study Hall. Anna has swimming practice every day, which takes up a lot of her time, so study hall helps her get her assignments done. She describes herself as empathetic, loyal, and hard-working. A fun fact about Anna is that she has a 100% rage quit streak in Monopoly! Anna’s advice to the younger students is to “Master your studying methods early! You’ll need those skills for your upper classes and in college, and it’s really hard to find a method that works for you. Figure it out early.”
