Future Plans: Attend the University of Alabama or Louisiana State University and major in Kinesiology with hopes to become an Occupational Therapist 

Sarah Katherine West has been a student at Ascension since Pre-K 3, and many of her peers call her by her nickname, SK. While at Ascension, SK has been a part of many sports teams; these teams include soccer, softball, basketball, swim, cheerleading, track, and cross country. This year, SK is the co-captain of the cheerleading team and the captain of the cross country and basketball teams. Sarah has also been involved in SADD, Beads for Needs Club, Cupcakes for Causes, Leadership, and she was a prefect on the leadership team her junior year. In her free time, SK likes to hang out with her friends, shop, and drive. A fun fact about Sarah is that she scored a goal in the playoff soccer game during 7th grade while playing on the varsity soccer team. Sarah Katherine’s advice for underclassmen is, “high school goes by fast so enjoy every minute of it because before you know it, you will be a senior.” She also gives the advice to not stress about the small things because in the long run they will not matter.
