Advice+to+the+Underclassmen

As a senior, only having twelve days left of school made me realize your time in high school truly flies by. I did not believe it as an underclassman or even during my junior year. Looking back, I did not do as much as I could have in those years, and I regret it. Some advice to the underclassmen would be to go to as many events as you can. You may think it will be boring, but trust me, make the most out of it. I would advise thinking about college earlier. I had many unrealistic colleges in my head that I knew I would never go to. When it came down to my senior year, I had to make a decision about college, but I was lost on where to go. In addition, start thinking about what you want to major in so you won’t be blind-sighted when going to college. It’s normal to switch majors, but it is always good to have something in mind. Senioritis is real. The first semester will fly by, but after Christmas break, our effort subsides. Just remember to keep trying your hardest and maintain your GPA. Lastly, be more involved with your classmates because one day you won’t have the chance anymore. Savor those moments and I promise, it will be worth it.
