On Wednesday February 1st, two Ascension episcopal seniors, Sarah Beadle and Jeffrey Elkins, signed their contracts to play college sports. Sarah Beadle signed to play soccer at Louisiana State University, and Jeffrey Elkins signed to play baseball at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. They have both been committed to these sports day in and day out.

Both Sarah and Jeffrey have been playing these sports for a very long time. Sarah has been playing select soccer all of her life and now plays for the Baton Rouge soccer club. She has also played soccer for Ascension since 5th grade. Jeffrey has played baseball for 12 years, but he has played 2 of those years at Ascension. Before Jeffrey attended Ascension, he played select baseball for Marucci. Both of these athletes are very hardworking and dedicated people and will definitely be successful in college.
