Last weekend was the grand opening of Lafayette’s first-ever 7Brew location! 7Brew is a drive-through only coffee shop that is known for its customizable coffees and energy drinks. I had 7Brew a couple of times before trying this one and really enjoyed it, so I was excited to finally have one here! The first time that I went was Saturday, when they were giving out free small drinks for their Friends and Family Days, which were Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before they opened on Monday. They have also been continuing to give out free drinks at different times during their Community Hours throughout this week, which is such a great way to promote their drinks and gain customers. As for the customer experience at 7brew, I would say that it is one of the best, if not the best, in Lafayette. They always have fun music playing, and all of their employees are kind and make an effort to talk to everyone and ask questions. I fully expected the line to be extremely long, especially with it being a drive-through only, but they make sure the line moves fast and efficiently, and I never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. So far, I have tried 5 different drinks, 4 coffees, and 1 energy drink.

Cookies and Cream Blondie with chocolate drizzle: This is another unique coffee flavor that has a taste unlike any other! It has a subtle chocolate flavor that doesn’t overpower the flavor of the vanilla in the Blondie. The chocolate drizzle adds an extra touch that makes it even better! This is the drink I would recommend to anyone trying 7Brew. 9/10

Cookie Butter Blondie extra sweet: The cookie butter flavor of this coffee is unique and so good! I have never seen any other coffee shop have this flavor. It is especially good with caramel drizzle and cold foam. It will definitely be a staple for me at 7Brew! 8.5/10

Cinnamon roll extra sweet: This drink is a perfect drink for fall! It had a delicious cinnamon and brown sugar taste. It was pretty rich, so I wouldn’t add any cold foam or drizzle. But it was the perfect level of sweetness, and the flavors mixed with the coffee created a perfect balance. 8.5/10

Energy drink: The energy drinks at 7brew are made with Red Bull, so I was expecting them to be pretty similar to Jet. I ordered a Red Giant, which was strawberry, almond, and white chocolate. The first thing I noticed was that it was way more carbonated than the ones at Jet, and the flavor was good, but not quite as strong as Jet’s. I definitely want to try more flavors, and I want to make my own in the future by combining different flavors. 7.5/10 

Sugar Cookie Blondie with toasted marshmallow and cold foam: This one was good, but neither the coffee flavor nor the flavors of the sugar cookie and toasted marshmallow were very strong. Good, but overall kind of bland. 7/10

 I definitely prefer coffee, and I like my coffee on the sweeter side, so I usually get everything extra sweet. This is a good option for people who like sweeter coffee, and they also have half-sweet options for people who like less sweet coffee. All of the flavor options, drizzles, and cold foam allow you to customize your drinks and find an order that you love! They also have chai, lemonades, and chillers! 7brew is my new favorite coffee place, and they have plenty of options for everyone! Go try when they are still giving out free smalls! Today is the last day!!
