This school year, the Spiritual Life team has led a morning rosary called Mornings with Mary. The rosary goes through a series of events that outline the life of Jesus, whether Glorious, Joyful, Luminous, or Sorrowful. While praying a series of Hail Marys, we use this rosary to honor Mary. As John 15:5 says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” It is so important that we dedicate time to rest in the presence of Christ. Additionally, saying the rosary in the morning is beneficial to starting your day, and the students agree as well. Here is what some of our attendees have to say:
Lauren Roth, a senior, says that she loves, “How we all get together as a community and pray!!!! It is something so simple but so powerful.”
Sophomore Kate Alldredge says, “I absolutely have been LOVING the mornings with Mary. It is so pretty in the morning and everyone praying together is just awesome!!! Cant wait for the one tomorrow!!”
“I love the opportunity to pray the rosary with different students and teachers,” says Junior Natalya Grant, our Spiritual Life Prefect. “Praying together always gives me a sense of peace and reassurance that lasts throughout my day, and it gives me something to look forward to during the rest of the week!”
