The senior lock in is an annual event where the senior class is able to come together and have a grade sleepover! I really enjoyed this event because it was something that was able to bring our whole grade together. We played a lot of games, ate pizza, and hung out with our friends. The games we played together as a grade were the couch game, mission impossible, steal the bacon, dodge ball, and musical chairs. Around 1 a.m. the boys and girls were separated because it was time for bed; the girls slept in school while the boys stayed in the gym. My friend Ella Grace Hebert said, “My favorite game was the couch game because everyone was together as a grade rather than separating into separate groups.” Also most people stayed up till 6:30, which was the end of senior lock in, but I personally couldn’t stay up, so I went to sleep around 4a.m. In all, senior lock in was definitely a memorable experience that I won’t forget.

Hi my name is Allison and I am a senior and I’ve been at Ascension since my freshman year! I like journalism because I am able to help design the yearbook and write articles about the things I care about. I have been playing volleyball here at Ascension for all the years I’ve been here and am planning on joining the basketball team this year. Outside of school I like to hangout with my friends and spend time with my family.
