This year’s Back to School Bash theme was Louisiana Saturday Night! It was on Friday, August 8th, at 8 pm, after the first days of school. Most people say that this dance is their favorite one of the year because everyone is finally back together after summer. Some people dressed in camouflage, Mardi Gras, LSU, and Saints colors, and more. The foyer was covered with balloons, festive tablecloths, and Louisiana decorations. There was also food, treats, and water for everyone. Amir Balbesi, Ascension’s Lead Prefect, was the DJ for the dance and played such fun Louisiana music! The sunset was especially pretty that night! It was such a fun night and a great way to start the year!
