Favorite Memory at Ascension: Dunking on Will Kerstetter

Wyatt Fox has been attending Ascension since 2nd grade. Wyatt is involved in football, baseball, YoungLife, and is the president of the Young Americans for Freedom club, where he can have friendly debates about his opinions. His favorite memory at Ascension is dunking on fellow senior Will Kersetter during 7th-grade recess to win the basketball game. In his free time, Wyatt enjoys going eat dinner with Cain Breaux and embarrassing Trey Maraist in Wii golf. Due to the global pandemic, this school year has been a lot different than usual. Wyatt says, “I take it one day at a time and try to enjoy every last bit of it because one day my high school days will be over.”  

On the football team, he plays defensive back. I asked Wyatt what his favorite thing about football is and he responded with “hanging out with the homies at practice.” The corona restrictions don’t really affect Wyatt when it comes to football because “the homies are still there.” Wyatt is still unsure of where he wants to attend college but plans to study law.
