When did you first start going to Ascension? I started going to Ascension during the 4th quarter of my 5th grade year. I actually moved here the week everyone was in DC.

Which class do you enjoy the most this year? Why? I love Leadership this year because it is a fun way for me to be able to have a say amidst the busyness of a high school.

What are your future plans? I will be attending UL next year to major in organizational communications and hopefully hop into a career in HR or PR after college.

What’s your favorite memory at Ascension? A favorite memory is so hard to narrow down! But if I had to choose one, I would definitely say probably in 6th grade when a girl named Gigi, tried to microwave a lizard, and Mr. A ran across the cafeteria so fast and tried to stop her. It was so funny.

We asked Ronni some questions about herself and these were her responses:

What do you like to do in your free time? I do musical theatre a lot! It literally takes up all of my time, which isn’t a bad thing because it’s what I love to do, but it’s just a lot. I do CYT as well as theatre for the school. I am currently, Glinda, in The Wizard of Oz with CYT. As well as the mother, Katherine, in Freaky Friday the Musical with the school.

What place do you like to visit the most? I love going to Disney! Well, amusement parks in general. I love a good roller coaster.

What’s your dream place to visit? I really want to go to a tropical island, surrounded by crystal clear water. A tropical, and yet luxurious, hut with palm trees right outside the window. Anywhere beautiful and tropical pretty much

What is your favorite animal? My favorite animal is probably a panda. I can’t get over how cute they are. I just love them so much.

What is your favorite Disney character? I am obsessed with Moana. I know, so basic but I truly love her so much! She’s so precious and yet such a strong young woman. And she has some adorable animal friends, but is she even a Disney princess if she doesn’t have an adorable, animal sidekick?

What’s one thing you always wanted to do? I’ve always wanted to go skydiving! If someone told me that they were bringing me skydiving right here, right now, I would go in a heartbeat!

What are you most excited about for this year? I’m just really excited that it’s senior year and that all of the seniors are making an effort to be friends with everyone. I love how our grade is starting to bond more than ever! I lock-in was such a blast and I can’t wait for the next one and all of the other senior events!
