Favorite Ascension Memory: Lauren’s favorite memory at Ascension was in the 8th grade when her class went on the Boston Trip.
Future Plans: Lauren wants to be a nurse in the future.
Dreams: Lauren hopes to one day travel around the world.
Lauren is in the National Honor Society, English Honor Society, and Beta Club. She plays basketball, softball, and she was also a former soccer player. She has been a member of Beads for Needs, Cupcakes for Causes, and the Culinary Club. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her friends, traveling, tubing, and boat rides. Her advice to younger classmen is “time flies fast but have fun while you can.”

Hey everyone! My name is Caroline Ortemond. I am the Chief and Editor of Journalism this year. I have been in Journalism for three years, and I absolutely love it! This is going to be my last year in Journalism, so I am going to try my hardest to make it the best year ever. I play basketball and track, and I am the president of the Speech and Debate Team. My favorite thing about Ascension is the welcoming environment that makes everyone feel like they're a part of one big happy family.
